Maximize client goals by analyzing program requirements and providing recommendations to support.
Ability to effectively manage pre-production work, on-site elements and post analysis for large events designed to meet client objectives.
Effectively negotiate with third party vendors including hotels, venues, transportation companies, restaurants, national tourist offices and other local and national suppliers. Incorporate clients' creative vision into various elements throughout the event.
Organize creative proposals to support client business objectives within outlined budget parameters.
Effectively manage program budgets (including estimates and actuals) for all client events, including verification of vendor fees/invoices.
Close out program budgets and all invoicing in a timely manner.
Ability to create and update production schedules, manage deliverables, organize manifests, hotel rooming lists, schedules of events, etc.
Lead post mortem conversations (internal and external) and create detailed event wrap reports.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Los Angeles office, included several direct reports.
Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Access & PowerPoint.
Requirements
A minimum of 7 years experience in incentive travel and/or special events.
Clear, concise thinker that serves as a team player.
Ability to multi task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong leader that is willing to take a hands on role in managing projects, while mentoring junior staff members.
Highly organized with a strong grasp on logistics and budget management.
